    I’m setting up the EA and I keep getting the error message MT4 ID FAILED – is the MT4 ID already in use? I have MT 1 set as the ID in the app and then I have 1 set as the ID in the EA itself. I’m not sure what to do or if there is anything I need to do.

    Hi Jason,

    Please try using another MT ID by selecting it in the EA’s inputs and in the app. Also, make sure that you are running the EA on only one chart.

    I am also having this problem. I tried other MT ID’s but still got the same error.

    Hello Victor,

    Please make sure that you attached the EA on only one chart and that the same MT ID is selected in the EA’s inputs as well. Let me know if this helps.

    Hi Veronika,

    Yes, I tried to attach the EA to the AUDCAD H1 chart only, input my license key, and select MT4 channel 1. Then I got the error that I previously listed.

    I cannot get it to work, and I would like to cancel. I did not see a way to do this on the My Account page.
